In most blog tours, a single author appears on a variety of blogs, moving around the Internet and allowing the readers of those blogs get to know the author.

In the Merry-Go-Round Blog Tour, the authors stay on their blogs and it's you, the reader, who takes the tour.

Each month, our participating authors from around the world agree to blog on a single topic throughout the month. By following the links in each month's post, you'll discover a whole bunch of new authors in a variety of genres, levels of experience, and styles of writing.

We hope you enjoy the trip and come back each month for a new spin around the globe.

Procrastin…. Squirrel!

Many years ago I heard someone say that procrastination is not the cause, but rather the symptom of something else. I tend to agree. Think about it – when you’ve procrastinated there was probably something more pressing requiring your attention. Or perhaps some truth you were trying to avoid. Let me explain.  Continue reading on my blog.

My mother claims that I hold the honorary title of World's Worst Procrastinator, and seeing as I've neglected to place my car's registration sticker on my license plate for the past four months now, I have to wonder if she's right. Read more...

Procrastination: Merry-Go-Round Blog Tour #8

Unlike a lot of writers, I'm faced with a different type of procrastination

(Idiotic, really, as I’ve wanted to be a published author for half my adolescence.) I just came off a three week stint in between novels, and am already woefully short on annual word count as well as two weeks behind my scheduled goals. Not because of procrastination (which is what I was doing), but because of resistance — that which caused me to procrastinate. Every month, on the 10th day, I take part on the Forward Motion for Writers Blog Tour. Ironically, this month, the month when the topic is procrastination, I'm actually writing this post ahead of time.

Procrastination fears me

Procrastination and I are old friends. The other day, for example, I was contemplating pushing aside the novel I was working on editing to go bake chocolate chip cookies. I even went so far as to mention it on Facebook. To read the rest of how procrastination and I get along, continue reading on my blog.
